Zeke: is a 3 1/2 year old shepherd/husky/malamute/basenji mix. Likes include: a raw food diet, playing at the dog park, jumping, laying on the bed when the parents aren’t home, running with Mommy and wrestling with Daddy. Â Dislikes include: when cats get away, big waves at the beach
Gretchen: 31 year old zookeeper. Likes include: Doug, her boyfriend (now husband!) of roughly 12 years, running w/Zeke, gardening. Â Dislikes include: eggplant, people that mistreat animals, & people that talk nonstop.

hi gretchen! my name is hana. i met your bf doug at the underbridge dog park this morning with my dog tyson. he mentioned to me about you and your blog and i think it is wonderful that you’re sharing stories of zeke and his experiences with the world. tyson and zeke played well together and i hope we will meet one day and have them play some more! thanks for the raw food diet blog. i will goto western beef this evening and start shopping!

Hi Hana! Doug told me about you and Tyson. I’m glad the puppies had fun playing together! We usually go to that dog park Friday nights around 7 too. Your Zeke is a bigger mix than my Thor ! Or at least what we know about it. His basenji side gives him a bit of stubbornness, is not it ?
Zeke is about 72lbs. Yes it does make him have a stubborn streak. He can also be a bit aloof at times, definitely not the biggest cuddler.
