Dog Scootering
I just did my taxes this morning. I know I’m getting a little money back. I’ve been talking to Doug the last few days about possibly trying bikejoring with Zeke. We love canicrossing and plan to continue but I’ve been looking for a new challenge. I’d like for Zeke to have the opportunity to be able to run faster sometimes instead of trotting along with me. I always come back to the fact that having Zeke pull a bike makes me a little nervous since he is reactive to certain stimuli and we can’t get around that here in the city. But, a scooter is easier to stop and/or bale out from! haha. And Doug has always wanted a real, off road scooter, so he would be willing to use it also. And it will be great to take with us camping! So, a slight impulse buy…

Sled Dog in the City 
I’ve never tried one, but it looks awesome! What a great idea. I can’t wait to hear how it goes and I bet Zeke will love running faster. I always imagine Kobi chasing a squirrel if I were have her tied to me while on a bike.
yes! that is what I was worried about too. The scooter is supposed to have excellent brakes and I’m going to try to work a lot on Zeke’s reactivity to other dogs the next few weeks. But I’m thinking the camping trails and park roads we’ll use it on, we won’t pass dogs too frequently.
I’ve never even heard of bikejoring before! Have fun!
