My 101st post & 50 followers!!!!

This post is my 101st post since starting my blog in December of last year! I am really happy with how it is turning out. It is much more time consuming than I thought, but also very enjoyable and even therapeutic. I say it all the time, but Zeke is really changing my life, and its nice to have a record of all of those changes and the things we have experienced together.

Just since starting this blog I have become more serious about running and canicross. Especially living in the city, I see canicross as a real game changer in how people can become active with their dogs in a safe (leashed!) way. I definitely can’t recall all of the many people who have questioned me as to what exactly I’m doing with my dog when we go out in our canicross gear. It gives me that warm fuzzy feeling when people smile or wave or even just stare confusedly at us as we jog past. I hope we have inspired at least a few of them to try canicrossing or any other way of involving  your dog in your daily activities.

Thank you to all of my followers/friends for checking out my blog. I’m trying to keep it well-rounded with different doggie-topics. I plan on doing some more product reviews in the coming weeks. With camping season here, Doug, Zeke, and I are planning on branching out and trying new campsites as well, so those stories will be coming soon. And, of course, I am open to any suggestions you have for my blog so please make recommendations in the comments below.

A special thank you to my Dad for encouraging my blogging, helping me with initial set-up questions, and for recommending WordPress-I love it!
